<H1><B>Des Moines, Iowa</B></H1>Drake University is seeking a Vice President for Admission and Financial Aid to provide leadership and vision in areas related to enrollment and institutional positioning. The Vice President reports to the President and is responsible for building and implementing a comprehensive enrollment and financial aid strategy for the University’s undergraduate and selected graduate programs. The Vice President oversees a staff of approximately 40 people and serves on the President’s Cabinet.<BR> <BR>Founded in 1881, Drake University is a private, comprehensive university of approximately 5,000 students and is continually ranked among the top five Midwest master’s universities in <I>U.S. News & World Report</I>. Drake is located in Des Moines, the capital city of Iowa, which has a population of 500,000 and a variety of social and cultural opportunities. He or she will be a strategic thinker who can successfully position Drake in new and existing markets over the next 3 to 5 years. Experience in recruiting geographically and ethnically diverse populations will be a plus. Candidates should have a sophisticated understanding of financial aid leveraging strategies.
