<P class=MsoNormal><FONT face=Arial color=navy size=3><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; COLOR: navy">Provides administrative assistance to the Director of Student Aid/BCD campus.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Operates the reception area, greets students, answers phones, and maintains front desk. <SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Assists in counseling students regarding financial aid & debt management.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Transmit and receives data to and from the Central Processor & imports this data into the appropriate files.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Reviews Federal Pell Grant awards and disbursements for accuracy and assists with reconciliation.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Assists in the general awarding process, insures that students meet all documents requirements, and processes loan applications.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Processes emergency loan promissory notes and documents.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Assesses the special needs of students with unique issues through professional judgment.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Provides support for the implementation of the Lifelong Colleague Initiative with special emphasis to all areas of customer service.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Performs other duties as assigned.</SPAN></FONT><FONT color=navy><SPAN style="COLOR: navy; mso-color-alt: windowtext"><o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
