<br><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><b><u>FUNCTION OF THE JOB:</u></b>
</font>
<br><font size=3 face="Times New Roman">The individual in this position
will provide advice and assistance to students and parents regarding applying
for financial assistance. While ensuring confidentiality of information,
this person will provide information to students regarding their aid application
at OSU and assist students and parents in developing a plan of action for
completing the application process. This person will also provide
guidance and information to students regarding maintaining and/or regaining
eligibility for assistance. They will also represent the office at
various on- and off-campus recruitment programs and financial aid workshops
for students and parents.</font>

<br><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><b><u>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</u></b>
</font>
<br><font size=3 face="Times New Roman">A Bachelor’s degree, preferably
in business, education, social or behavioral sciences and two years experience
working with students (preferably in a collegiate setting) are required.
The successful applicant must have strong interpersonal skills, attention
to detail, effective communication and good listening skills, as well as
sensitivity to the needs of others and a consistent attitude of customer
service. Experience working in an on-line computer environment highly
desirable. </font>
