507-646-4138<BR><BR><BR>Carleton College seeks the immediate appointment of an
Associate<BR>Director of Student Financial Services to oversee office personnel
and<BR>direct the daily operational tasks in the Student Financial
Services<BR>Office at Carleton College. The Associate Director assists in
the<BR>coordination and review of financial aid applications, packaging
and<BR>awarding of aid, and the proper distribution of institutional,
state,<BR>and federal funds. This position also involves researching
and<BR>reporting financial aid data and statistics to appropriate offices
and<BR>organizations that have a need for information from Carleton.
The<BR>Associate Director also provides leadership for staff development
and<BR>training and plays a key role in maintaining positive
relationships<BR>with other campus departments and outside constituents.
MINIMUM<BR>QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold a Bachelors Degree and have
at<BR>least 3-5 years of financial aid or related experience in
higher<BR>education. Desirable credentials include a Masters Degree; 5- 7
years<BR>of experience at the Assistant or Associate Director level at
a<BR>selective liberal arts college and familiarity with the College Board<BR>IM
need analysis calculations. Finally, all candidates must be able to<BR>work
independently, communicate effectively, and be motivated to<BR>assist students
and their families in affording a high cost college. <BR>If interested, please
