position: <BR><BR><BR>FINANCIAL AID COORDINATOR – FEDERAL GRANTS AND
<BR>STUDENT LOANS-The Financial Aid Coordinator <BR>verifies student financial
aid files and <BR>certifies student eligibility for the Federal <BR>Pell Grant,
Federal Stafford Loan, and <BR>Alternative Loan Program; processes and
<BR>certifies student loan applications adhering to <BR>program guidelines;
analyzes information on the <BR>National Student Loan Data System; verifies and
<BR>tracks student and/or family income information <BR>and tax documents
following federal procedures; <BR>investigates, interprets, corrects, and
<BR>resolves inconsistent data or conflicting <BR>information; counsels and
assists students and <BR>families <BR><BR>REQUIRED: Associates
degree in Business related <BR>field and two years of experience in financial
<BR>aid with direct experience with verification of <BR>student financial aid
files and certifying <BR>student loan applications, or an equivalent
<BR>combination of education and experience <BR>sufficient to successfully
perform the essential <BR>duties. The successful candidate must have
the <BR>ability to work independently and in groups and <BR>to learn quickly.
<BR><BR>PREFER: Bachelor’s degree in Business related <BR>field and
accounting or tax experience. An <BR>individual with a Bachelor’s in a
Business <BR>related field and tax experience may be <BR>considered in lieu of
direct financial <BR>aid experience. <BR><BR>Qualified applicants
