Director of the Academic Scholarship Office<BR><BR>Annual Salary:
Competitive and commensurate with education and
experience<BR><BR>Description: The director will manage public and
privately funded awards<BR>for incoming freshman, transfer students, and select
awards for current<BR>students. The director will work extensively with the
Honors College, with<BR>recruitment, and with outreach. The director will be
active in creating<BR>new ways to make the scholarship application and delivery
process more<BR>effective. Applicants should have experience in
supervising professional<BR>staff, budget preparation, and program
development/enhancement. Effective<BR>written and verbal communication skills,
interpersonal, and organizational<BR>skills are essential as is a demonstrated
commitment to the values of<BR>cultural and ethnic
diversity.<BR><BR>Qualifications: BA/BS in any field/MA preferred from an
accredited<BR>institution. Experience managing budgets and an understanding of
the<BR>financial aid process would be helpful. An Honors degree is preferred
