<BR><BR>Job Description:<BR>STUDENT FINANCIAL PLANNER <BR>Our Student Financial
Planners are responsible for working directly<BR>with students and their
families to develop, negotiate and finalize<BR>student financial plans
consistent with planning procedures and<BR>governmental regulations.
<BR><BR>You'll be reviewing all new and continuing student financial aid
forms<BR>for accuracy and completeness, generating
acknowledgment/missing<BR>information request letters, and updating plan status
records in our<BR>computer system. You will maintain communications with
Admissions and<BR>Housing, assist Admissions with questions regarding financial
aid,<BR>maintain plan tracking comments to be used in admissions'
status<BR>meetings, and certify loan applications. You will also
re-plan<BR>continuing students, re-entry students and those returning from a
leave<BR>of absence. You'll accurately revise student financial plans,
solve<BR>problems, and follow up on incomplete loan applications and paperwork.
<BR><BR>Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<BR>* Associate's degree, bachelor's
degree preferred. <BR>* 2-3 years of successful customer service experience,
student<BR>financial aid experience preferred. <BR>* Successful experience in
handling multiple tasks simultaneously<BR>* Ability to interact well with a
diverse range of people<BR>* Strong organization and follow up skills. <BR>*
Strong attention to detail<BR>* Strong analytical skills and ability to explain
financial information<BR>to others.<BR>* Availability to work one evening per
week and one to two Saturdays<BR>(9am-1pm) per
