a Director of Financial Aid to direct the College’s comprehensive financial aid
program. The College administers approximately $16 million in aid,
including over $8 million in institutional aid. Reporting to the Vice
President for Enrollment, this position is responsible for the administration,
management, and disbursement of all student financial aid in accordance with
College objectives. This includes oversight of the financial aid policy,
creating and implementing strategy, as well as compliance in all federal, state,
and institutional regulations governing all sources of financial aid, including
scholarships, grants, work and loans. The director supervises three
professionals and also works closely with the Office of Business and
Finance. </SPAN></FONT></P>

style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: Garamond">A bachelor’s degree with a
minimum of five years of financial aid experience in an academic institution is
required. Candidates should have at least two years of supervisory
experience at the assistant/associate level, a demonstrated track record of
successful work with students of diverse backgrounds, excellent communication,
interpersonal , and leadership skills, and an appreciation for the small,
private liberal arts experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate
an understanding of how to strategically utilize aid in building enrollment,
possess a thorough understanding of federal and state programs, appreciate the
role of technology, and exhibit a strong service orientation.</SPAN></FONT></P>
