<DIV><BR>The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga <BR>DIRECTOR, Financial
Aid. Reporting to the Associate Provost for Academic Administration, the
Director serves a central role in the recruitment and retention of students, and
will assist in reviewing and modifying long-term financial aid strategies.

<DIV>Major responsibilities of this position include directing and coordinating
the university’s $45 million in student financial aid programs; supervising a
staff of 12; ensuring university<BR>compliance with federal, state, and NCAA
rules and regulations concerning financial aid and with conditions established
by private donors of financial aid funds; assisting in the preparation of
university financial assistance policies; establishing systems and providing
staff training to ensure excellent service to students, quick and accurate
packaging of<BR>financial aid, and seamless coordination with other university
offices; and preparing operating reports setting forth progress, and trends,
with appropriate recommendations or conclusions. </DIV>

<DIV>QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree or equivalent; minimum of five years
experience in Financial Aid at the assistant, associate, or director level.
Candidates should demonstrative<BR>superior interpersonal, verbal, and written
communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with other campus
offices, and thorough knowledge of financial aid programs. Prefer
candidates with experience working with SCT Banner Financial Aid software and
who have worked with state lottery scholarship programs. Compensation is
competitive and<BR>commensurate with experience. </DIV>
