<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-hyphenate: none; tab-stops: -.5in"><SPAN style="mso-bookmark: OLE_LINK1"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">The Financial Aid Specialist meets and counsels with both students and parents for the purpose of awarding, processing and certifying both federal and private student loans in accordance with federal, institutional and/or other appropriate regulations, policies and guidelines for an assigned portion of the ORU student body.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN style="mso-bookmark: OLE_LINK1"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman">Requires a Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of experience in a financial aid, or student services setting <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">is preferred</I>.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Must be computer literate and demonstrate accurate data input. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word applications preferred.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, have the ability to prioritize tasks, work with deadlines, and be able to read and interpret federal regulations and guidelines as they apply to federal student aid.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Good verbal, written, reading, mathematical, organizational, and interpersonal skills a must.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Confidentiality of information is required.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></SPAN></P>
