ASSISTANCE<BR><BR><BR>Kansas State University is seeking applications and
nominations<BR>for the position of Assistant Director of Student
Financial<BR>Assistance. Responsibilities include direct supervision of
full<BR>time and part-time staff, assistance with the implementation of<BR>the
on-line financial aid system, and some mix of the following:<BR>resolving
complex regulatory or subjective problems that cannot<BR>be resolved by office
counselors, successfully supervising and<BR>training full- time staff, providing
positive leadership for<BR>timely review and implementation of policies and
procedures,<BR>effective presentations to on and off campus audiences,
and<BR>effective integration of enrollment management strategies into<BR>Student
Financial Aid functions.<BR></DIV>
<DIV>Qualifications include: bachelor's degree (master's<BR>preferred), one-two
years work experience in Student Financial<BR>Aid and demonstrated knowledge of
Student Financial Aid<BR>regulations (experience in Student Financial Assistance
and<BR>Admissions would be beneficial), above average communication<BR>skills,
ability to test and analyze system applications, and<BR>demonstrated proficiency
in leadership and supervision. <BR>Preference given to qualified applicant who
speaks and writes<BR>Spanish fluently. </DIV>
