<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">The SWASFAA Board is considering the
following proposal that has been presented to us:</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">At the end of the SWASFAA President's
tern, a gift of up to $3000 would be sent to their Institution as a thank
you for allowing him/her to serve in that capacity with the association.
</font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif"> What we need to know from you
is how would this gift be received by your institution? Would
the financial aid office be able to benefit from this gift or would it
have to go into the general fund? I guess the bottom line is, would
your office be able to participate in discussions of how these funds would
be used. </font>

<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif"> We will be discussing this issue
at our April Board meeting, therefore any feed back you could provide would
be very helpful. </font>
