<P><FONT FACE="Arial">Attached for your information is an updated spreadsheet that reflects OTAG awards paid to students in 2007-08, compared with end of year expenditures for 2006-07. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">As of today, approximately $700,000 in 2007-2008 OTAG funds remain uncommitted. To qualify for our federal LEAP and SLEAP allocations, we must award this remaining $700,000 to eligible students before June 30 when the current award year ends. Our preference would to expend these funds in the current spring semester. Whether or not we will be able to do so depends on the value of award claims remaining to be submitted and whether or not we are in a position to decide to move the EFC cutoff slightly or extend the FAFSA receipt date beyond June 25, 2007.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">While institutions have until April 11 to submit their final spring 2008 OTAG award claims, we ask that you submit any additional claims that you are aware of without delay. Please contact us if we can be of assistance or provide your institutions with a current pre-populated Award Claim Form.</FONT></P>
