<P><FONT FACE="Arial">Attached for your information is a spreadsheet that reflects each participating institution's OTAG 2008-09 awards disbursed as of 2/27/09 compared with 2007-08 end of year awards disbursed. Institutions where no spring 2009 award claims have been paid by OTAG are identified with "fall only" in the right margin of the attached spreadsheet. If your institution needs a pre-populated Award Claim Form to assist you in claiming spring awards for your eligible students, please send a message to </FONT><FONT COLOR="#0000FF" FACE="Arial">reports@otag.org.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">Reminder of approaching Spring 2009 OTAG deadlines: </FONT>
<BR><FONT FACE="Arial">Friday, March 6, 2009 -- Each participating institution must have submitted their INITIAL spring semester award claim. The president or chief executive officer of any institution not submitting an initial claim by March 6 will be notified in writing. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">It is important that ALL participating institutions cooperate by submitting the majority of their Spring 2009 OTAG award claims by the March 6 initial deadline. Please be mindful that the earlier institutions complete their Spring 2009 OTAG disbursement activities, the sooner we can determine and announce if funds will be available to award in Summer 2009. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">Friday, April 10, 2009 -- No further requests for awards or for increases to individual awards already disbursed for the Spring 2009 semester will be accepted after this date. It is our hope that this late in the semester, any remaining award claims submitted will be limited to a few "clean up" requests. After April 10, requests for exceptions due to extraordinary circumstances may be granted only upon approval of the Chancellor for Higher Education and must be submitted in writing to the Chancellor. Please be mindful that waiting until April 10 to submit OTAG award claims does not automatically extend the time the institution has to complete the disbursement of funds and submit their final reporting to the OTAG office.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">Friday, April 24, 2009 -- Institutions shall notify the State Regents of any pending refunds that have not already been returned to the State Regents. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">May 1, 2009 -- The State Regents shall announce if any OTAG funds are available for awards in the summer 2009 semester. If funds are available, the State Regents shall also announce awarding criteria at that time.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT FACE="Arial">We appreciate your assistance in delivering OTAG funds to Oklahoma's eligible students and in adhering to the set deadlines for the betterment of the delivery process for all participating institutions, and most especially for the students who benefit from the program.</FONT></P>
