(excluding Sundays) to act on the bill. Following are the potential outcomes:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span></span></span><![endif]><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The Governor can veto the bill and send it back to the Legislature with her message on the reasons for the veto. If vetoed, the Legislature could consider the possibility of a veto override. Normally,
a veto override would require a 2/3’s vote by both the Senate and House. However, bills with an emergency clause (which SB 529 has) require a veto override vote of 3/4’s. A veto override on SB 529 would require yes votes by 36 out of 48 Senators and 76 out
of 101 House members.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
