return of OKPromise award funds when an OKPromise student withdraws from a class. In the final version of the bill approved by the House, the requirement applies only to withdrawals prior to the end of the add/drop period. The text of the bill is shown below

May 4) to act on the bill.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D">On Monday, April 30, the Governor signed the state budget bill, SB 1600. The only additional funding for higher education was $7.5 million to increase the
reimbursement for statutorily-mandated tuition waivers for high school seniors taking concurrent enrollment classes at state system colleges. The estimated costs of the tuition waivers for 2018-19 is $13.5 million and the current funding was only $2.7 million
(20% funded; the colleges must absorb the remaining costs). The $7.5 million increase will raise the reimbursement to $10.2 million (projected to be about 75% funding of 2018-19 costs).<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Higher Learning Access Program. The provisions of this subsection shall only apply to awarded funds when a student withdraws prior to the end of the add/drop period for the session in which the student is enrolled.
