changes to 2018-19 and 2019-20 verification requirements</a>, I am curious what other institutions are doing. Do you plan to revert back to accepting signed 1040s or are you sticking to the IRS tax return transcript? I realize that this guidance comes at
a time when students are experiencing issues with the IRS’ online “Get Transcript” due to scheduled maintenance, so I’m not asking about short term solutions to the current problem. I am, however, looking for your long term plans with your overall verification
policy and any adjustments your institution is making to the required documentation that you will accept (specifically, IRS tax return transcripts and non-filing letters).
