Subject: $125 a day for Summer Jobs for Teachers

Stacey:

Can you help us out?

Can you please share this information with your teachers any way you can. They just moved some additional jobs to Oklahoma because they are having trouble recruiting teachers in other states.

Please share this information with your colleagues. The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards will be hiring teachers in the following areas to work from 8am-5pm July 8-26 at St. Eugene's School in OKC to score National Teacher Certification portfolios (AYA/Math, EA/ELA, EAYA/Music). Teachers will be fed breakfast and lunch each day and can apply and pay for up to six hours of graduate credit (not at OSU) as part of this professional development experience. Teachers will also receive a $300 fee waiver towards the exam fee for next year.

Qualifications to assess require teachers to have taught for 3 years and currently be teaching in the area they will score. Please call me or Jesse Salas 800 22 teach to get a packet to complete and return ASAP to be considered. A few packets are also available at OSU-OKC in the office of Lainney Ballew located at (10th/Portland) phone 947-0302.
