9 - 10 AM  Keynote:  What Does the "Leave No Child Behind" Act mean to me in
the classroom? Also includes suggestions for raising your Oklahoma API
score.

10-2:30 AM Grade Level Institutes 

Grades K-1  "Using Children's Literature to Teach Skills and Concepts" -
make and take, games, and resources
Grades 2-3  "Using Children's Literature to Teach Skills and Concepts" -
make and take, games, and resources
Grades 4-5  "Using Children's Literature to Teach Skills and Concepts" -
make and take, games, and resources

Grades 6-8  "Fun Ways to Teach Tough Topics" - focus on fractions, percents,
and proportions

Algebra I -- "New Ways to Teach an Old Subject"  - explore Cognitive Tutor,
Discovering Algebra I, NCTM's Navigations Through Algebra,etc.

Leadership (K-12) - Learn tips for National Board, Presidential Awards,
Teacher of the Year, and Designing Your Own Leadership/Professional Growth
Plan.

Using Data, Getting Results (K-12)  - Presenters at the elementary, middle
school, high school and state levels will share methods and models for using
data in the classroom and school site to improve student learning.

AFTER JUNE 22, 2002 or ON SITE REGISTRATION, Conference Registration is $15

ALL Conference attendees must also be OCTM members.  Please include the cost
for OCTM membership to your total if you are not a member or if you need to
renew your membership.

OCTM Membership:   $5 for full time students OR if math is less than 1/2
your teaching assignment.
			$10 all others
