I will attest that Annenberg materials are usually top quality.  This may be a good opportunity for elementary teachers and middle school teachers to get a dose of content training free of charge.

Annenberg/CPB Channel Announces Free Summer Institute Schedule

Continuing the tradition of quality professional development -- at no cost -- the Annenberg/CPB Channel is featuring a full range of teacher education programming. This summer many workshops and courses will be broadcast on the Channel to accommodate institute-style participation. That is, the workshops and courses will be aired at the same time of day, Monday through Thursday, for two weeks. Complete a free workshop or course and earn certificates that may be used for inservice and recertification credit. Graduate credit is also available at reasonable cost. Offerings include workshops, courses, and libraries in mathematics, science, social studies, literature, and educational issues.
