Good morning,
I hope you had a restful summer!  Below are updates and very important information:

Update:  I am now the Director of Student Preparation and our new coordinator is Annette Long, along at osrhe.edu<mailto:along at osrhe.edu>.  We are looking forward to assisting you.

Important information/dates below:


Ø  Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE), is offering the PreACT for all 10th graders to all schools, public and private.

o   Ordering window opens August 13 and closes November 9.  ACT will be sending an email to all DTC’s next Monday, August 13.

§  Please do not order before August 13 as order will not be processed.

o   Testing window for PreACT is September 4 through November 30.

o   Please forward this email to your DTC and counselor as you may have new staff that are not on our list serv.

Ø  Save the date for the Concurrent Enrollment Conference, October 9, at UCO.  I have attached a save the date flyer.  This conference will focus on concurrent enrollment issues that are pertinent to both K-12 and higher education professionals.  Thanks to the generous support of the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, there is no registration fee to attend; however, registration is limited to the first 200 who register.


Ø  Make plans to attend one of our Counselor/Indian Education Conferences; I have attached a schedule. Registration will be on our website soon.

o   Registration fee for the conference is $145 which includes lodging and meals.

o   Registration deadline is one month before the conference.  No refunds after registration deadline.


Ø  We will have our Annual Summer Institute June 2019; Location, registration fee and dates will be forthcoming.
