Good afternoon,
I hope that your school year is wrapping up smoothly. Looking to next school year, please be advised of significant updates regarding the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) contract for the 10th grade PreACT. We at OSRHE will continue to learn more about this throughout the summer, but as of now this is the information we have.
Key Changes for Fall 2025 PreACT:

  1.  Ordering and Pre-Administration: With the launch of the ACTNow platform for our contract, there will be new procedures for ordering the PreACT and completing pre-administration tasks. Please see Summer Email from OSRHE below.
  2.  Testing Options: Schools will have the flexibility to administer the PreACT either on paper or online, or both within the same school.
Action Required:

  *   ACTNow Emails: Ensure you read all communications from ACT regarding ACTNow.
  *   Summer Email from OSRHE: Look out for an email containing a Google form that must be completed as the initial step to participate in the 10th grade PreACT under the OSRHE contract. This form is similar to the one completed by superintendents to identify the District Test Coordinator (DTC) for ACT testing through OSDE. You will not have access to participate in our contract for the PreACT unless this form is completed. Please note that due to these changes the ordering window will not open until August 11th, which is later than it has opened in recent years.
If you participate in the OSRHE 10th grade PreACT, please make sure that you or your DTC and BTC received the email below.

As the 2024-2025 school year comes to a close, ACT wants to give you a preview of what’s coming for the 2025-26 school year. Beginning in Fall 2025, you will use ACT Now, ACT's new test administration platform, to administer PreACT State testing in addition to your state WorkKeys and ACT tests.

ACT Now, in conjunction with Test Center Manager (TCM), has replaced PearsonAccessnext and CCRIS. You will receive additional information about this new platform later this summer, once ACT Now and TCM are configured for the test administrations.

While the tasks and activities associated with the Fall 2025 PreACT administrations won't begin for a few months, we are providing some high-level milestone dates and information to you now to help prepare for this transition.

Note: For Spring 2025, ACT Now is scheduled to open in early November and additional ACT dates will be available in the fall. ACT will send email communications for spring administrations once more information becomes available.

Process Overview

District test coordinators are responsible for ensuring school-level users are added to ACT Now.

School test coordinators are responsible for:

  *   Accepting the invitation to participate in Fall ACT State testing.
  *   Adding any school-level staff who will assist with the administration. Room supervisors and proctors will need ACT Now accounts.

Use the Administration selector at the top of the ACT Now homepage to ensure you perform actions for the correct administration.
