Dear Counselors and College App Week Event Coordinators:
As the school year winds down, we'd like to thank you for all the great things you've accomplished this year, and we applaud your hard work! You may be involved in planning your school calendar for the 2025-26 year, so we're writing to remind you to take a look at your calendars and decide where you can fit in your school's next College Application Week (CAW).
Typically, CAW is held during the last full week of September, to correspond with National GEAR UP Week. We have not gotten an official confirmation on the exact dates yet, but we expect that CAW will occur during that same week again this year, which is September 22-26, 2025. Keep in mind, though, that your CAW doesn't have to be held that week-you can choose any week during the months of September through November, 2025 to host your event.
We had a tremendous CAW in 2024!

  *   142 high schools, higher education institutions and tribal partners registered for the event--our biggest enrollment yet!
  *   At least 4,053 high school seniors participated in CAW events statewide and submitted over 7,900 college applications.
  *   Applications were sent to at least 240 colleges in 42 states and Washington, D.C.
At the end of CAW, the 142 site coordinators were asked to submit an exit survey reporting the number of seniors who participated and the number of college applications submitted. They were also given the opportunity to share the various activities they used to engage their students and to make their CAW a success. Each school that submitted an exit survey was considered as a nominee for the annual Oklahoma College Application Week School of Excellence Award.

It's not too early to register for CAW 2025! Simply complete the CAW Registration Survey<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CAW2025Reg> by either clicking this survey link or visiting OKCollegeAppWeek.org<https://www.ocap.org/caw/> and clicking the 'Register Now' button. In August, we'll mail you a packet containing free promotional posters and free 'I Applied' stickers for the estimated number of seniors you expect to participate. While you're on the website, take a look at all the great resources available to event coordinators, students and volunteers! We've updated our materials, so be sure to check them out!
