(3) Instructors pursuing the OK Standard Teaching Certificate must possess a bachelor’s degree and complete either 15 credit hours of education courses or 225 hours of individualized professional development.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Professional safety instructional position. The Safety Instructor is responsible for teaching generalized and customized safety education classes relating to specific industry sectors or companies. WTC safety training is primarily designated for business and industry clients located within Career Tech District 12. However, occasional out-of-district or out-of-state safety training is also within the scope of this position.  This job includes individual consultations with business and industry clients which may include but are not limited to recommendations for specialized safety programs, development of curriculum for specific safety applications and proposals for future customized safety training programs based on analysis of current safety related incidents within a company or organization.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: This is a twelve (12) month, full-time professional staff position.  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
