OSRHE STEM ACADEMY GRANT OPPORTUNITY
As you are aware the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) have provided grants for Summer Academies to promote hands-on experiences for Oklahoma students that spark interest in STEM and increasing their higher education experiences. While these programs continue to be successful, to help reach the OSRHE Blueprint 2030 goal to produce 100,000 degrees/credentials in STEM and critical occupations, we are excited to announce that we are launching a pilot grant program, Full STEM Ahead, to expand STEM exploration opportunities.
To learn more about the program and to submit a proposal please see attachments, FY24 Full STEM Ahead Call For Proposals and Grant Initiative Strategies and 2024 Full STEM Ahead Budget Template. Please note that the proposal deadline is November 27, 2023.
For those familiar with our Summer Academy RFP and proposal process, you will find that the Full STEM Ahead grant process has been streamlined to facilitate a quick turnaround to meet fast approaching deadlines. We encourage you to share this email with those on your campus that may be interested in submitting a proposal. The purpose of these grants is to create new opportunities, rather than enhance or expand existing opportunities.
Please join us for a Technical Assistance meeting November 7 at 3:30 pm to learn more about this opportunity. Register in advance<https://onenet.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0pd-GpqD0uHtaRwvJwbD-Ag5iDlVWps-Ag> for this meeting.
For question please feel free to reach out to Annette Long, Director of Student Preparation for College Readiness at along at osrhe.edu<mailto:along at osrhe.edu>.

REMINDER NSF WORKSHOP
A reminder to register <https://forms.gle/sCughxkWpxdWjn7L7> and join us for the first of a two-part workshop series about the National Science Foundation (NSF) Cyberinfrastructure (CI) funding programs targeted for representatives of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and other under-resourced minority-serving institutions (MSIs), and their cyberinfrastructure collaborators. The first workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, November 8th from 12:00-3:00 pm ET.
The workshop series is for Campus IT Leaders, IT Staff, Faculty, and Administrators at HBCUs, TCUs, and resource-constrained MSIs (non-R1 institutions), who often wear multiple campus hats. In addition, we strongly encourage potential CI collaborators of these institutions, such as regional networks and partnering universities, to attend. We also encourage you to forward this invitation to your campus partners who may have an interest.
The goals of this workshop series are to provide training opportunities on relevant NSF CI funding programs, approaches to develop campus CI goals and strategies, important first steps and tools for grant proposal development, and identifying potential CI collaborators.

Humanities Research Centers on Artificial Intelligence file:///C:/Users/christinef/Downloads/Research%20Centers%20on%20Artificial%20Intelligence%2020240214-RAI-1.pdf
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Research Programs is accepting applications for the Humanities Research Centers on Artificial Intelligence (AI) program. Launched through NEH's new Humanities Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence initiative, the purpose of the program is to create new humanities research centers on AI at eligible institutions. Centers must focus their scholarly activities on exploring the ethical, legal, or societal implications of AI, as outlined by the 2023 National Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Strategic Plan. Centers should include scholars from multiple disciplines, but they must be led by scholars in the humanities or humanistic social sciences. NEH is particularly interested in Centers that explore the impacts of AI-related technologies in the areas of equity, privacy, or civil rights.
