Register for the Summer Grant Workshop on July 23!

The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, the University of Central Oklahoma, and the Council of Grants and Research are partnering to host a one-day Summer Grant Workshop on July 23, 2025. The workshop, entitled: Pivot: Research and Grant Writing in a Changing Landscape seeks to help participants identify and develop skills to adapt to the (sometimes daily!) changes of the current grant landscape.

NSF Sponsored Teacher Training
Dr. Joselina Cheng at UCO has received an NSF grant to provide AI training for Oklahoma high school teachers.  Computer Science or STEM teachers will receive a stipend of $400 for attending a two-day training (on 7/24 and 7/25, 2025, from 9 am - 3pm CST) via Zoom; and follow-up activities for teacher support. The training will cover 10 CS units that correspond to Oklahoma CS curriculum and standards using while using Generative AI-tools (e.g., Chatgpt, Claude, Notebook LM, Perplexity, etc.,) to boost teacher productivity (e.g., AI-generated curriculum, rubrics, presentations, AI-generated  coding to create a website, mobile apps, gamification, etc.,).  Teachers with or without a CS degree or coding background are encouraged to apply via the link<https://ai-stem4ok.com/>.
