"Enriching the Academic Experience of College Science Students"
     University of Michigan - Science Learning Center

           Conference Dates:  June 3-5, 2008
           Proposal Deadline: December 31, 2007

Submit a proposal to present a session at this exciting conference for
faculty and staff who work with undergraduate science students outside
of the traditional classroom. Sessions will cover a range of topics
including peer and collaborative learning, mentoring and tutoring,
undergraduate research for science students, assessment of science
support programs, recruitment and retention, and much more. We are also
pleased to announce that the 2008 Keynote Speaker will be noted scholar,
educator, activist, author and co-founder of the Meyerhoff Program, Dr.
Freeman Hrabowski, President of the University of Maryland-Baltimore
County.
