[Okgrantsmanship] Teacher Opportunity Fair

The Chamber is hosting a Teacher Opportunity Fair and Workshop on August
10 to help teachers who have been laid off from metro area schools.  I
noticed that there are a few opportunities at OSRHE and wondered who I
could talk to about the possibility of having a booth.  The price is
right - it's free!

If you have any ideas about recruiting employers or teachers to this
event, please let me know.  This is the first time that we've had an
event for this audience.

The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber knows it is a priority to recruit and
retain the state's best and brightest graduates. You have been a
valuable partner in this effort by attending the Greater Grads Career
Fair. 

Hundreds of K-12 teachers in Oklahoma will not have a job next year
because of recent school budget cuts. We will be hosting a Teacher
Career Workshop and Opportunity Fair, in partnership with Oklahoma City
Public Schools and American Federation of Teachers, exclusively for
teachers affected by these budget cuts.

We invite you to be an exhibitor at this special career fair at no cost.
We are also seeking HR professionals to assist with mock interviews and
resume reviews.
