Dear Linda,
I would like to help but because of OK Research Day and a lot of other things I am not sure if I have the time to do so. Let me know if you get a sufficient number of people.

Dear Colleagues,
We at the Regents are in great need for 5 reviewers for the Improving Teacher Quality grant proposals beginning on October 13. Since the deadline has passed, I encourage you to agree to give a few hours to this effort. Please respond to me today if you can provide your expertise to this grant. Please share this request with those on your campus you feel will be interested and willing to respond. Thanks so much!

Hi Linda,
I am looking for external reviewers to read the Oklahoma ITQ grant proposals this year. This is a request to find volunteers from higher education, common education, businesses sectors and legislators to read and score upcoming federal grant improving teacher quality proposals. Readers‘ educational background knowledge in Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, and overall understanding of effective teaching and learning instructions are important. This is a statewide process and we accept applications from all around Oklahoma. Interested individuals can familiarize themselves with the Request for Proposal (RFP) through the following link: http://okhighered.org/itq/2012.shtml.
Please share the following brief background information regarding readers’ tasks with your group.
“…Each reader will read and score maximum of three proposals. It is imperative that after scoring each section, reader provides comprehensive comments and feedback (both positive and constructive) regarding that section. Only the readers’ comments will be shared with the grant directors to communicate the strength and the weakness of their proposals.
Please forward the attached registration form to your group. Interested participants must complete and return the attached Reader Application form, with a PDF copy of their Curriculum Vitae (one-pager) to Saeed Sarani, ssarani at osrhe.edu<mailto:ssarani at osrhe.edu> by Monday, October 3, 2011. The selected readers will be notified via email by Friday, October 7, 2011. Thank you so much!
Saeed
