[Okgrantsmanship] "InfoEd Global Webinar: Electronic Submission Proposals to US Federal Agencies other than NIH"

Mason, Linda lmason at osrhe.edu
Thu Dec 13 09:18:00 CST 2012

I know this is a way to get communication information to push the commercial InfoEd products, BUT it is a free webinar and could provide interesting and helpful information about the grant application process to NSF, NASA, USDA, and DOD. I am going to watch it, and you may want to also. You are welcome to join me if convenient!

Please join us on Thursday, January 10th at 2 pm EST for a webinar and open discussion where Roger Wood, InfoEd Senior Product Manager, will focus on using PD for electronic submission for US Federal agencies other than NIH, such as NSF, NASA, USDA, Department of Defense, and others.

Each agency has unique requirements and expectations and they often differ markedly from those of NIH. We will review and explore some of the unique aspects and issues associated with submissions to these agencies such as working with special budget forms and agency-specific forms that are or are not formal forms managed through Grants.gov. We will discuss some of the nuances associated with NSF and NASA applications via Grants.gov rather than via FastLane or NSPIRES.

Input from the audience will be critical to the success of this session as folks really want to hear about other institution's experiences and efforts in these areas. If your institution has submitted applications to agencies other than NIH using PD, please send an email to Roger Wood (rwood at infoedglobal.com<mailto:rwood at infoedglobal.com>) in advance with a brief description of those experiences and indicate whether you expect to attend the webinar and if you would be willing to share your experiences with the group during the session.
