The Oklahoma Center for NonProfits sponsors a very helpful workshop each year called the Funders Forum. A panel of local grant funders provides information to the participants about what they fund, how they best communicate, what they are looking for in partners, and answer specific questions from the participants. They agree to network before and after the panel presentation. It is well worth the minimal cost of the workshop for those searchers for local project funding. Instructor: Frank W. Merrick is President of Foundation Management, Inc., Vice President of The Merrick Foundation, and President of Ward S. Merrick, Inc.
