Subject: NA Symposium
Could you send this out to some folks on the list serve? I appreciate your interest.
Southeastern Oklahoma State University is hosting the 10th Native American Symposium. The symposium is a bi-annual event that began twenty years ago and has continued to grow as an opportunity to showcase culture, history, customs, languages, and arts of Native people from all over the world. This year, we have designated November 14th as a day in which we would like for tribal members and employees from the Chickasaw Nation and Choctaw Nation to do workshops and presentations. I hope that you and your staff can participate and join us for other events on campus. Please let me know if you would like to be a presenter. The length of time for presentations can be flexible as can be the location on campus (classroom, auditorium, gymnasium, outside). I look forward to hearing from you.
