Do not be afraid to give your time to writing grant proposals. Time given to planning proposals is never time lost, but is rather time gained, so that our research, our programs, our collaborations and indeed our whole profession may become more profoundly significant.

NCURA is pleased to call for applications for the NCURA Global Fellowship<http://www.ncura.edu/MembershipVolunteering/Programs/NCURAGlobalFellowship.aspx>. The NCURA Global Fellowship program is one of the benefits of being an NCURA member, and it is also a joint initiative between NCURA and other global research administration societies.
Objectives
1. Provide an opportunity for an NCURA member to experience research administration in a different country.
2. Enhance global research collaboration by fostering research partnerships and greater understanding of the different ways of managing research.
Description
The program will provide an opportunity for NCURA research administrators to travel to a research organization in a different country and to immerse themselves in a program of mutual learning and knowledge exchange. In turn, the Fellows are expected to pass on their own experiences and knowledge of research administration, identify best practices at their host institution, and to adhere to applicable organizational rules and cultural practices.
