Do not be afraid to give your time to writing grant proposals. Time given to planning proposals is never time lost, but is rather time gained, so that our research, our programs, our collaborations and indeed our whole profession may become more profoundly significant.

Hi Linda-
Here is the press release for the new scholarship. We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this with the Regents office.
Thank you.

(Edmond) The Oklahoma Women in Higher Education announced the Debbie Blanke Scholarship, an annual scholarship designed to acknowledge the leadership of Dr. Blanke in supporting women in higher education in Oklahoma.
The annual scholarship is open to women in Oklahoma who are pursuing an education with a goal toward working in higher education. The application details will be posted on the OKWHE website in March and the first scholarship will be awarded for the fall 2015 academic semester.
““Without the continued focus and support of Dr. Debbie Blanke, OKWHE would not exist,” said Dr. Tami Moser, OKWHE State Chair. “Dr. Blanke’s focus is on helping women become their best. I am proud to call her my colleague, mentor, and friend.”
Dr. Blanke is a founding member of OKWHE, currently serves as associate vice chancellor at the Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education (OSHRE) where she has worked for 12 years, and has served in Oklahoma higher education for more than 20 years.
