Educators to attend iPadpaloozaOU

The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education and Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma will host iPadpaloozaOU on Aug. 26-27 on the OU campus in Norman.

The technology conference is split into two days, with day one geared toward current college students and day two focused on teachers.

Day one is open to any college student interested in educational technology.

The goal is to create a day of learning for pre-service teachers and connect them with current educators before they step into a classroom. The $25 registration fee includes a T-shirt and breakfast.

All educators are welcome to attend day two on Aug. 27. The first 300 Oklahoma educators to register for the event will have the $75 registration fee waived. The conference will focus on technology integration with an emphasis on iPads.

Speakers on the second day will include Lisa Johnson, Apple distinguished educator and creator of the TechChef4u blog.
