Free Grantwriting Workshop

Thursday, January 30 and Friday, January 31, 2020

There is no fee for either day, but you must register in advance for one or both days by email to abrandley at osrhe.edu<mailto:abrandley at osrhe.edu>. Priority will be given to those in higher ed, but if space allows, those outside of higher ed may register.

Thursday, January 30, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Beginning Grantwriting: The Process
This hands-on workshop is for those who have not written a grant proposal but are going to try it soon. Attendees will learn about grantwriting and then actually begin to write and critique a grant proposal (you may bring an idea for a grant proposal or perhaps an agency that has funding you are interested in).
Attendees should bring a laptop and a flash drive.
Class is limited to 20 students, so register now!
Lunch is on your own from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 pm. There is a food court available next door.

Friday, January 31, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Search and Select: A Strategy for Finding Grant Resources
This practical application workshop is for those who are searching for grant resources. Attendees will plan a grant search strategy and perform searches.
Attendees should bring a laptop.
Class is limited to 20 students, so register now!

Workshop Location: Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, 655 Research Parkway, Oklahoma City, OneNet Conference Room 1st floor.
The building is located at approximately NE 6th St and N Lincoln Blvd in the OU Research Complex. Parking is free in the parking garage. Directions and map<http://www.okhighered.org/state-system/directions.shtml>.
