[Okgrantsmanship] Biomedical Symposium

Hi everyone!

Hope everyone is as ready for the holidays as I am! NSU is currently
working on an NIH proposal that would provide funding for a Biomedical
Symposium. This would allow for faculty to meet one another, so our
research is not so siloed. For instance, there would be break out sessions
with R1 faculty discussing grant writing, "academic speed dating" for
faculty to meet one another, breakouts for research
administrative personnel to discuss grants management and compliance, as
well as policies to help faculty, INBRE sessions, and other things to
bolster collaboration within the state for research. INBRE will be
providing and letter and partnering as well.

I am looking for some letters from institutions that would be willing to
attend a symposium like this and have lunch. This would be held in BA
campus each year. I would love letters from both faculty and research
administrators. Christine, a letter from OSRHE would be great.

Thank you all, and I am happy to provide a draft letter for anyone as well.
