[OklahomaIndianStudies] Pressure to Comfom

I'm wondering if anyone on the list has ever been pressured to change 
classes in other disciplines to conform to the matrix for those 
disciplines. I have not encountered such pressure, nor have I heard of 
anyone else encountering it. We are correct in being thoughtful, but I 
think we also need to acknowledge that a lack of agreement on 
equivalency could well create enormous problems for students  who wish 
to transfer  hours. Additionally, I think we have (wisely) left 
descriptions general enough to allow for considerable flexibility.

Since the process of establishing equivalency has existed for years, it 
seems reasonable to assume that any problems spawned by it would 
certainly have come to our attention. However, I may simply be 
unenlightened; I acknowledge that I am speaking only from my experience 
at Cameron . If others have had a different experience, I hope they will 
let us know so that we can make informed decisions.
