After canvassing all the likely attendees, it appears that Mondays and
Fridays, possibly as early as noon and no later than 2pm may be our best
bet.

 

Would you please rank these dates/times in your order of preference (1 most
preferable to 6, least preferable)

Monday, March 12th, noon

Monday, March 12th, 2pm

Friday, March 30th, noon

Friday, March 30th, 2pm

Monday, April 2nd, noon

Monday, April 2nd, 2pm

 

I am assuming it is OK with everyone of USAO hosts the meeting?  I can get
us a great room. and I suspect that I can get us a decent lunch if we decide
on a noon meeting.  Refreshments will certainly be available regardless of
the time.

 

We only had 2 volunteers for the Formal Structure Committee: Clara Sue
Kidwell and Carol Winslow.  Since we are contemplating incorporation as a
501c3, any thoughts that you have concerning this would be important.  Is
there any reason(s) we really Should, or Should Not incorporate?  Is it
necessary?  I hope that Carol and Clara Sue might send out some e-mails to
us as a group concerning their ideas on this.

 

At this point, based on the canvass, it appears our order of business may be
something like the following:

 

1.	Vote temporary chair for conduct of meeting
2.	Discuss purpose of organization.  Create Purpose Statement if
possible.
3.	Determine our name.
4.	Begin discussion of incorporation/bylaws

 

Several folks thought that funding discussions weren't necessary yet, so I
have left that off the list.
