Happy April everyone!

 

OKPromise has begun a new ad campaign featuring testimonials from some
of Oklahoma's own!  You may notice some billboards, print ads,
television ads or even a banner on the side of a bus of one of your
former students or a counselor or principal you might know.  We are very
excited for this new ad campaign and truly appreciate the heartfelt
testimonials provided by our volunteers.

 

I also wanted to let you know that we are mailing a postcard (see
attachment) to all of our OKPromise seniors today.  This is just meant
to be informational, however you might have some students asking about
it.  Hopefully they won't have any hard questions.  J

 

Also, we have been utilizing our new Blackboard contact system in an
effort to ramp up our direct contact with students and parents. Many of
your schools have similar systems that send notifications via phone,
email and text messaging.  We are driving students/parents to our
website and the current message will be in the big yellow box on our
homepage http://www.okhighered.org/okpromise/.   In December, we sent a
message to all enrolled OKPromise 2012 seniors reminding them of the
upcoming changes to the program regarding the second income check 
http://www.okhighered.org/okpromise/seniors100k.shtml.  In January the
message went to all of our current college students notifying them of
some changes affecting them 
http://www.okhighered.org/okpromise/sap-requirement.shtml.  At the end
of next week, we are planning on sending an informational message to
enrolled OKPromise 2013 juniors that will just remind them of the
requirements of the program.

 

Last but not least ..... we will be mailing the 2012 OKPromise senior
Program Verification forms at the end of this month!  Be on the lookout!
