From calexander at osrhe.edu Mon Sep 29 09:32:01 2014 From: calexander at osrhe.edu (Alexander, Carol) Date: Mon, 29 Sep 2014 14:32:01 +0000 Subject: [OKPromise-k12-counselors] Oklahoma's Promise message to students In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: Hello! Over the weekend, Oklahoma's Promise sent out email, text and phone messages to all students currently enrolled in the OKPromise program in grades 8-12. These messages went to students with contact information provided on their original applications. If an email was not provided on the application, the student/parent will not receive an email. The message was just to provide information to the student and required no action on their part other than making sure they are enrolled in the right classes and notifying them of the two GPAs that are required. The text and voice messages refer them to their email or the OKPromise website where they can obtain more information. In the past, we received reports of the students going to their counselor in a panic; there is no need to panic. The messages are listed below so you will know what we sent. Thank you for all that you do for your students! If you have any questions, please let us know at 1-800-858-1840 or okpromise at osrhe.edu. Email: Hi, This is Oklahoma's Promise, the college tuition scholarship program provided through the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
