Hi Terrence,
The regional compact SARA directors are working with NC-SARA to come up with some consistent way to collect this information. The graphic that was shared with us at the RSC meeting is new and was first introduced at the May NC-SARA board meeting. Since this will be the first iteration of the process, there are still some things that need to be worked through. In the meantime, please complete the Doodle poll and we will move forward with planning our conference call. Hopefully the details of this process will be available prior to our conference call, and if not, then we will spend the time discussing what the best process is from the SPE and institution perspective. I also hope to have more information to share about the tabled board items.

Good evening.  I hope you are doing well.

Has NC-SARA provided an Executive Summary or any guidance on what the tabled policy revisions are and how best to articulate that information to the institutions?  Is there a questionnaire or survey that SPEs should use to ensure we are asking questions pertinent to what NC-SARA is trying to accomplish via this endeavor?  It may be easier to amalgamate data if the questions are the same.  By having institutions from four different sectors, I am asking for help on how best to go about to solicit these data from institutions.  Any insight that you can provide is appreciated.

In the meantime, please review the attachment as a reminder of NC-SARA's request for SPEs to gather input from their institutions to share with the regional compact on this call. You should gathering information from your institutions about the tabled policy revisions and any other suggested policy revisions to be proposed for the fall NC-SARA board meeting. SREB must compile this information in summary format and provide it to NC-SARA before the end of June so that they may compile the first draft of items to go to the board.

     *   Input from institutions to SPEs --> SPEs to Compacts --> Compacts to NC-SARA --> NC-SARA Staff compiles first draft
