[Sa-rfp] RFP suggestions

The time is nearly upon us for a new Summer Academy Request for
Proposals to be issued.  The sixteen Academies which are in their last
session this summer total $380,000.  
 
Additional funds MAY be available through the ARRA funds.   It is
currently believed that these funds will be available for 2010 and 2011.
If at all possible, proposals submitted in response to the usual Summer
Academy RFP will be considered for both funding sources.  
 
We are reviewing the last Summer Academy RFP

preparation for the invitation to bid being published in early July.  
 
On occasion I have received a comment relative to a change someone would
like to see in the Summer Academy Program.  I am open to reading your
requests/suggestions for making changes to the RFP.  We cannot promise
to include even one suggestion but I do promise to read and consider
each one as I do realize you are closer to the action than we are.
 
Your ideas must arrive in my email Inbox by Monday, June 22 @ 5:00 p.m.
to be considered.
