Summer Academy Supporters,

 

A small amount of funds, $150,000, has been set aside by the State Regents for the Summer Academies.  These funds will be used to fund a very limited number of academies, probably 3, for a two-year period.

 

The 2012 Summer Academies Request for Proposal (RFP) is now available.    The 2012 RFP is available through the Oklahoma State Regents' website at http://okhighered.org/grant-opps/osrhe-grants.shtml#sa <http://okhighered.org/grant-opps/osrhe-grants.shtml#sa> .  For this small amount of money special consideration will be given to Academies addressing Oklahoma's emerging economies such as aerospace, energy, health care, and advanced manufacturing. 

 

Please share this note with interested faculty and staff at your institution.  Closing date for 2012 proposals is September 29, 2011.  Questions regarding the RFP should be directed to me or summeracademies at osrhe.edu.

 

A video-conference will include a brief presentation followed by question and answer session relating to proposals will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2011, in the OneNet Conference Room (1st floor at 655 Research Parkway) at 1:30 p.m.   To register for the conference, email summeracademies at osrhe.edu <mailto:summeracademies at osrhe.edu>   indicating whether you will be attending via videoconference or in person.  Information for accessing the videoconference will be sent upon receipt of your videoconference registration.

 

In addition, this list serve will be used to answer questions related to the RFP.  We look forward to receiving high quality proposals and continuing the excellence that has characterized the Summer Academies Program.
