[SecurityLeadership] Invitation to Higher Education CISO Summit

[OneNet Security Leadership]

Hello CoIT Members and Security Leaders,

It was great to see many of you yesterday.

We want to remind everyone to register a representative for the Higher Education CISO Summit on Oct. 18th. As Von shared yesterday, we need a representative from every institution. We currently only have 10 institutions registered.

Many of you have registered for our Cybersecurity Forum on Oct. 24th. We welcome you to participate in that event; however, we want to emphasize that the CISO Summit is the more important event for higher education.

As we are preparing for the event, Von has also requested that each institution submit the name of their technical cybersecurity lead. Please email me their name and contact information.

We look forward to collaborating with everyone on the 18th.

Hello CoIT Members & Higher Ed Security Leaders,

OneNet requests your participation in our upcoming Higher Education CISO Summit. We have planned this summit to bring together the security leaders from all of our institutions to initiate collaboration and system-wide security initiatives.

We will discuss higher education security pressure points, brainstorm solutions to our common issues and set up taskforces for major initiatives. It's vital that we have representation from every campus, so we can plan strategies for our entire higher education system.

Note: This event is separate from our Cybersecurity Forum on Oct. 24th, which is for all OneNet customers. The CISO Summit is just for higher education.
