Greetings To All Residents,

I hope this email finds you well as you begin to spring break.

As I am sure you all aware, the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) has been taking the news by storm. Our president, Dr. Feaver sent an email outlining the university's efforts in monitoring and mitigating the spread of the virus. Being in such an intimate space with over 400 students, it is especially important that the Office of Housing and Residence Life execute measures that align with such efforts. Please see below:

  1.  Housing will remain open
  2.  Take note that all visitation rights and privileges as it pertains to your hall contract are cancelled until further notice
  3.  Be vigilant in disinfecting surfaces
  4.  Make sure you are washing your hands and using the proper procedure in covering your face if you cough or sneeze
  5.  Practice social distance
  6.  If you feel that you may be displaying symptoms, you may call the Oklahoma State Department of Health at 1-877-215-8336, https://www.ok.gov/health/Prevention_and_Preparedness/Acute_Disease_Service/Disease_Information/Coronavirus_Disease_2019/index.html and email housing.
  7.
