[USAO-Robertson] City Flushing Hydrant Lines

Good morning,

A few residents have reported seeing brown water over the past day or two. Please do not be alarmed. Mechanical maintenance asked us to inform residents this is due to the City of Chickasha flushing out hydrant lines in the area.

This is a common routine for municipal water systems to flush the build-up of sediment that accumulates in the lines over time. Unfortunately, it affects homes, and in our case residence halls, for a bit when it happens. The issue will resolve itself.

Thank you, and have a nice day!

Regards,
Karl Tyler
