Howdy Drovers!



Congrats on finishing the Fall semester strong! We would like to take this time to congratulate our winter graduates and thank you for all you have given to USAO.



Winter break is approaching quickly and that means it is time to schedule your winter housing checkout. Sparks and Robertson will be closed for Winter Break starting Sunday, December 8 at noon and will reopen January 15 at 10am. Spring classes begin on January 16.



We are here to help make the checkout process easy and this is what you need to know.

  *   All Sparks and Robertson residents are required to check out within 48 hours of their last scheduled final. If you plan on returning and are enrolled, you do still need to check out, but you can leave your belongings in your room for when we return in the Spring.
     *   Please select your checkout time here<https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0844A4AE28A4F9C34-53373169-usao>.
  *   Prior to your checkout time please complete the following:
     *   Get rid of all perishable items
     *   Unplug all electronic items excluding refrigerators.
     *   Make sure your windows are closed and locked.
     *   Take out the trash
     *   Turn off all lights
     *   Lock your door
  *   At your scheduled time, a member of housing will be available at the RA desk to walk you through your room and collect your keys.
  *   Head home and enjoy the long break!
  *   If you are an international student with a flight later than 24 hours after your last final please contact the housing office to schedule an alternate checkout time.
  *   If you need to stay over the break for extenuating circumstances, you will need to fill out an extended stay form<https://usao.erezlife.com/app/one.php?manager=FormView&form_type_id=15>. Submissions will be reviewed on an individual basis.

o    If the link doesn't work, log in to usao.erezlife.com and you'll find it under Forms on the left side menu.

  *   Students not returning for the spring semester MUST fill out the Room and Board Cancellation<https://usao-gcgxy.formstack.com/forms/room_and_board_contract_cancellation_request> form by December 10 at 5pm to not incur January charges.
