[USAO-Robertson] Reminder-Roof Repairs-Move Cars By Tomorrow

[USAO Housing]

Dear Lawson Residents,

We want to remind you that roofing work on the Lawson Apartments is scheduled to begin Monday, May 19. Please read the following details carefully, as this work may impact parking and general activity around your building:

Project Timeline & Schedule

  *   Start Date: Monday, May 19 (subject to weather - there's currently a 50% chance of rain).
  *   Work Hours: Daily from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM, including Saturday and possibly Sunday if the work is not completed by Friday.
  *   Sequence: Roofing will begin with Lewis and Shafer, with Shack being completed last.

Parking
The roofing company will stage and store materials in the parking lot behind Shack, starting Monday morning. To accommodate this:

  *   Residents must move vehicles from the first two rows of the parking lot behind Shack (from the sidewalk to the light posts) by Tomorrow-Sunday night, May 18.
  *   We are coordinating with Security to tape off this area in advance to prevent any issues.

Resident Impact

  *   You do not need to vacate your apartment during the work hours.
  *   Drop zones for materials will not block walkways.
  *   Three foremen will be on-site to help direct safe entrances and exits from the buildings.
  *   The work area will be clearly marked with caution tape.

After Completion

  *   Crews will drag the area with metal detectors to collect nails, but some may still be missed.
  *   Please wear shoes outside during and shortly after the project.
  *   For those walking ESA animals, please use extra caution and check paws as needed.
