PFT Reversals - We will discuss the Reversal Fund Transfer for Higher Education, Payroll Data Example-Current and Future, and the PFT Text File-Future documents noted below and published on the Business Application Services (CORE) Financials webpage<http://links.govdelivery.com:80/track?type=click&enid=ZWFzPTEmbWFpbGluZ2lkPTIwMTYwMjEyLjU1MTUwNzYxJm1lc3NhZ2VpZD1NREItUFJELUJVTC0yMDE2MDIxMi41NTE1MDc2MSZkYXRhYmFzZWlkPTEwMDEmc2VyaWFsPTE3MDA4MTAxJmVtYWlsaWQ9c21hdWNrQG9zcmhlLmVkdSZ1c2VyaWQ9c21hdWNrQG9zcmhlLmVkdSZmbD0mZXh0cmE9TXVsdGl2YXJpYXRlSWQ9JiYm&&&104&&&https://www.ok.gov/cio/Customer_Portal/Business_Application_Services_Essentials/Financials/Financials_News.html>, covering the minor changes that will be made to the PFT Reversals to ensure proper cash balances are maintained. Although the change primarily relates to the account coding on the 78900 class-funding, we will cover the following discussion points:

  *   PFT Modification
  *   Overpayment Refunds
  *   Additional Taxes
  *   PFT Reversal requirement for cancelled payroll warrants

OTC Requirements - An article was issued in the February 2016 DCAR Newsletter giving the OTC requirements so that the Tax Commission can properly apply payments. OMES will review these requirements.  We suggest attendees include the technical, payroll, and financial staff.

78900 Reconciliation - Since cash balances must be adequate to make the payroll, taxes, benefit and withholding payments, it is important to reconcile the 78900 class-funding monthly. OMES has developed a query and instructions to provide guidance for reconciling. We suggest attendees include the staff that will be responsible for the reconciliation.

Payroll Notice of Changes and Return Items - OMES is currently sending emails notifying the institutions of Notice of Changes and Return Items. We will be discussing the manner in which changes will occur to this process beginning March 1, 2016. We suggest attendees include the payroll and financial staff.
